How It Works:
We begin with an email or call to talk about what you’re celebrating and what you’re imagining. You can share photos, inspiration, heirloom pieces, budget and timeline — or simply a feeling you’d like the piece to hold.
Together we refine the design: metal karat and color, diamonds or colored stones, sizing, engraving, and all the small details in between. From there, Katherine creates clear design options tailored to you.
Once the design direction is set, we source the materials. If your piece includes diamonds or gemstones, we’ll look at beautiful options and decide together what feels right — through photos or, if you’re in NYC, in person at the studio.
With everything in place, Katherine begins fabricating or carving your custom piece in the Red Hook studio. When it’s finished, you’ll see it either through detailed photos or during a studio visit, and then it’s carefully packaged and sent home to you.

Charms & Chains
Many custom pieces begin with something simple: a favorite chain and a charm that means something only to you. Over time, more charms get added — initials, dates, tiny symbols, stones — until the piece becomes a little timeline you wear every day.
I often work with the Classic Box Chain and the Tiny Dog Tag Necklace as a base, then build from there with charms and engraving. These pieces are perfect for layering, gifting and marking moments as they happen, one by one.
